It's Geaux Time!

It's Geaux Time! is an school program for 4th through 8th grade students encouraging the youngsters to get active for one hour before going home. If you wish to sign your school up for It's Geaux Time! please email: programs@believeican.org for further information.


Football Skills Day
Active: Louisiana and Illinois

Football Skills Day is a 3 hour program hosted by Pierre Thomas or an invited NFL athlete at a selected school or community park. Students will be instructed in offensive, defensive, special team’s skills and drills. Football Skills Day offer kids an opportunity to have 100-percent focus on their favorite sport while learning teamwork, boosting their confidence, and staying healthy and fit. Football Skills Day gives kids exposure to professional training and helps increase athletic performance.


Sideline Pass with Jennifer Hale
Active: Louisiana

Sideline Pass with Jennifer Hale is dedicated to educating and empowering young women. Sideline Pass provides community outreaches that focus on three goals: To introduce young female athletes to female mentors in both the business and sports worlds. To expose young athletes to resources, events and experiences within their community that they might otherwise miss.To equip young athletes in need with the necessary supplies to participate and compete in their respective sports.



Shopping with a Saint
Active: Louisiana

Shopping with a purpose! We will partner up with various sporting goods stores to allow the youngsters to select products to keep them active at home. There’s something about being able to shop without worrying about your budget. For many of the youngsters, that’s a real dream, and we will make it come true.


I Can Grow - Community Garden Project
Active: Louisiana and Illinois

ICAN Foundation will organize an I Can Grow - Community Garden Project in schoolyards, parks, empty plots of land or existing community garden site. Kids get exercise as they plant and tend the garden. They also learn, discover, nurture and eat the healthy fruits and veggies they harvest. Gardens are living laboratories where interdisciplinary lessons are drawn from real life experiences, encouraging kids to become active participants in the learning process.
